Arlyn Althoff, Owner

 

Arlyn Althoff, M.S., CCC-SLP, CLC received her Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the Ohio State University and her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola University Maryland. She is nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, licensed by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board, and holds a credential from the Ohio Department of Education. Arlyn has worked with children of a variety of age ranges and diagnoses within clinics, schools, and home-based settings. Arlyn's areas of specialty include early intervention, articulation and phonology, receptive and expressive language delays and disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, autism, Down syndrome, pediatric feeding disorders, sensory processing disorder, social skills, and parent and family education, collaboration, and support. Arlyn is also trained in the assessment and treatment of tethered oral tissues and is a Certified Lactation Counselor. Arlyn's approach to therapy is integrative and individualized, and she strives to develop treatment plans through careful consideration of each child's strengths and needs.
